5. Begin editing your video using your software of choice. Again, you're not trying to create a masterpiece. Simply cut out sections of the video footage that cause the video to become slow. For example, if there are moments where you look at your video outline during the recording session, cut these out! Anything the viewer doesn't need to see in order to receive value from your video, cut it out!
6. Render the video in high-definition quality (preferably 1080P HD).

The thing is, there is some metadata that you need to fill out when you upload your video, and filling the metadata out the wrong way will hurt the performance of your video.

Filling out the metadata for each video you upload in the correct manner is a fairly easy process on the surface. You simply input a title for your video, a description, and tags (optional, but recommended).
